Easton hair salon, specializing in coloring and hand

For people seeking a fresh summer look, your head will be in good hands at a new downtown Easton salon.

Raven Color + Hair Design Studio, holding a grand opening 5-7 p.m. Thursday at 19 S. Second St., is owned and operated by Megan Jenkins, a hair stylist with more than 15 years of experience in the field.

The salon, next to Catamount Tattoo Studio, serves men, women and children.

"We specialize in coloring and precision hair cutting as well as hand-tied hair extensions," Jenkins said.

Jenkins, of Lower Mount Bethel Township, works alongside stylist and extension specialist Jane Sebeldina. The pair accepts clients Tuesday through Saturday by appointment.

Raven's grand opening will feature giveaways, raffles, snacks, signature "Raven" cocktails, discounts on retail products and complimentary oracle card readings by Nanci Hummer, owner of downtown Easton new-age, metaphysical shop The Loving Piece. Also, the Easton Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting at 5:30 p.m.
