A brand-new Dragon Ball Super character looks to be dropping in Fortnite – here's everything we know about Goku Black!

Yes, Goku Black is now in Fortnite with a unique Super Saiyan Rosé alternate style.

Much like the Goku and Vegeta skins, Goku Black is able to transform into its powered-up state in-game via a unique emote.

First leaked by GMatrixGames, Goku Black is currently in the Fortnite game files, alongside a Super Saiyan Rosé variant.

Excitingly, the model is reportedly different from the standard Goku skin, which many players have complained about looking a little strange in-game.

The major skin difference comes from Goku Black's default facial expression, which often appears as more of a malicious smirk, as well as an outfit change.

Goku Black released in Fortnite on May 13, 2023.

Although many fans expected Goku Black to arrive in the Fortnite Item Shop on May 9, 2023 for Goku Day, there was no sign of the Dragon Ball skin in-game until a fair bit later.

Goku Black (complete with a built-in emote and alt variant) costs 1,500 V-Bucks in the Fortnite Item Shop.

Goku Black is the villain of the Future Trunks Saga in Dragon Ball Super. He is a Saiyan that looks identical to Goku who suddenly showed up in Future Trunks’ world and began terrorizing the planet.

It is later revealed that Goku Black is an alternate universe's version of Zamasu, a Supreme Kai apprentice who believed that the world would be better off without mortal life.

Using the Super Dragon Balls to switch bodies with Goku, Zamasu became Goku Black, destroying the Saiyan who was transferred into his own original body.

Utilizing the power of the Zenkai boost alongside battles with Universe 7's Goku and Vegeta, Goku Black manages to attain a Super Saiyan Rosé form – the equivalent of Super Saiyan Blue.
