Tessa Thompson attended the Patrón El Cielo celebration held at New York City's Iconic Boom Boom Room where she gave us a bridal inspired look.

The actress is known for her fashion forward style, but on this occasion, she proved she can do minimalism as this white Wiederhoeft dress proves.

Personally, I think the bodice on this maxi dress was a little bit too big for Tessa, but I do love how the effortless drape shows the natural liquidised quality of the fabric.

Tessa proved that even when she's going minimal, she has to incorporate a maximalist element to her look, which is seen via her Vaquera leather shoulder bag with exaggerated detailing such as the floor length fringe and studded accents.

If the dress and accessories aren't doing it for you, perhaps the hairstyle will, as the actress served up her signature long ponytail accented with a ribbon to match her dress which will no doubt serve up some more summer bride inspiration.

The Row leather white pumps completed her look.
